The Arts Alive Programme prides itself on highlighting development and established talent through the support of many programmes. This year’s Drama Theatre programme is the 2022 Zwakala Festival Winner, Thabo Ramiane and Lonwabo Bhele, whose incredibly thought-provoking production of Blacksmith allows the viewer to explore different ways of experiencing the theatre. Their amazing blend of live music, mask work and impeccable acting, puts you in another world seemingly far from us, yet eerily close to home.
